How often should my garden shrubs and plants be pruned?
This depends on the look you want, the maturity of your plants and the time of year. With regular pruning and maintenance, you should only need to do a big pruning service once a year, to cut everything back and enable healthy regrowth. If you aren’t sure what you need, just request an assessment with one of our landscape gardeners – we have horticultralists on our team who are the experts at knowing what your garden needs to look and feel it’s best.
Do I need to prune the shrubs on my verge?
In many cases, shrubs or trees on verges are council owned, touching them without checking first may result in a fine. Make sure to get in touch with your local council before touching the shrubs on your verge. If they are affecting visibility, your local council may want to send out their own teams to cut them back – if they don’t and you have permission, we would be happy to help you out.
